Rise block templates not showing previews
My team would like to use block templates more to share favorite blocks with one another. However, it has recently stopped showing any sort of preview image when you go to insert already created templates. This makes it essentially useless because I cannot see what the template is to know if I want to reuse it. This persists across other team members and both Chrome and Edge. And it happens with both very simple blocks and more complex ones or combinations of blocks.
How can we resolve this?

Sara, I'm glad you created this post. I am experiencing the same issue. I created my first Rise template block last week and thought it was a loading issue. I asked a teammate to create a template block early this week and I see his template is also gray.

Wonderful Lauren, it is working perfectly now! Unfortunately it didn't show the previews of blocks I had made before the fix but I had just gotten started saving things so I just redid them. New ones created as of today are showing the previews.
I'm glad it is working now! Unfortunately, there isn't a way to generate previous block template previews so they will need to be recreated to show the preview. Sorry for the inconvenience!
We just created a block template on 1.3.2025 and it is still grayed out on the preview. I don't see any update to install on it, so not sure it's fixed on my end. Any ideas?

Sorry to hear Block Template previews are still absent from your Rise course!
Since Rise 360 is a web-based application, there's nothing to install. New features and fixes are immediately available! Please try clearing your browser's cache, and then signing back into 360.articulate.com.
However, if the issue remains, please connect with our team through a support case. They'd be happy to continue troubleshooting with you!
