Audio is not replaying when I select replay
When testing a course created in 360 and published in SCORM 2004 on my LMS, and I select replay on the audio, the audio cuts off and doesn't start from the beginning. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?
Hi Sandy!
Sorry to hear you've run into this setback!
To clarify, does this issue occur only when viewing your course through an LMS? If so, it would be helpful to test your file in SCORM Cloud. If the audio playback works as expected, then the issue is likely LMS-related.
If the same behavior can be observed when previewing the course in Storyline, do you mind sharing your .story file for testing on our end? Feel free to upload a copy here in the discussion or privately through a support case.

I have the same problem - any fix?

Happens in preview. Once the first piece of audio has played. if you replay the slide the audio is cut. If you have multiple pieces of audio - they are all cut off.
Hi Marcus,
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand that Sandy was working on a course in Storyline, and when she replayed the audio when viewing the course in her LMS, it would cut off and not start at the beginning. Is that same behavior happening in your LMS?
You mentioned that multiple pieces of audio could be included. Do you have them on the base slide or in a slide layer?
Since you shared this is happening in preview, it would be helpful to take a closer look at your file in order to get a better understanding of your setup. Feel free to upload your .story file to this thread or privately in a support case so we can investigate further!

Easy to replicate - it happens in preview. Our audio is on the base layer.
It seems the timeline isn't restarting from 0s.
If you add an additional trigger to reset the timeline and then replay the slide, the audio plays correctly.
Would be great if this can be fixed soon.

I'm not having this exact problem, but a similar one. On slides with audio and video files, somtimes it plays correctly and other times the videos start in the middle. It seems to happen randomly, and is happening to myself and all of my reviewers in Review 360 as well as in published versions on our LMS (Moodle). I'm using the most recent version of Storyline 360 and of Chrome.

works fine for me in preview and review. May be your environment

Issue only occurs once the audio has played once. If you are reviewing the file I put up, wait until you've heard both bits of audio - after around 10s.

Seems like version 3.95 fixes the issue.
