Hi Everyone. I need a help to learn how can I make morph transition as it is in powerpoint in storyline (like making a curved page turn and zoom at the same time)?:) Thanks.

Articulate, it's been nearly 5 years since this thread was opened. I'll be honest, I'm so over " We're still tracking this request, so I’ll include your voice. We’ll update this discussion if this feature makes it on our feature roadmap." ... When is this happening? Is there not enough community support for this?? Literally, how many users need to come out in support of it for it to hit the roadmap? Do you need corporate clients involved? This is a genuine question: What do we need to do to help get this on the features roadmap within the next 3 to 6 months? And with all respect, no more boiler plate generic answers. What do we need to do for Articulate to prioritize this?

This feature would be nice. A workaround I have used is to create an image from Storyline and paste it in PowerPoint as a guide then replace the objects and create the Morph transition. then export that to a video and place that at the end of the Storyline slide. It is not tricky or time-consuming and it works. It does diminish editability in Storyline but if all you are morphing is an object or icons, it works well.

This is an ongoing request that has never truly received any traction from articulate. Others have tried to recreate the transition directly in Articulate. Some have used other authoring tools to see if it was better supported. I am going to try and do the video option because my client has already seen the demo out of PowerPoint and loves it. So if that does not work I may have to try another authoring tool or do a little back in coding with some Microsoft plugins to make it work.

Hi - this request has been around for four years. And it's not the only one (requests for a Mac compatible version of Articulate has been around for 10+ years). So, could we get (or be directed) to insight on why these highly desired and requested asks aren't prioritized or addressed (especially for such expensive software)? Is it staff shortage? Tech operations? Can community members help in the development of these features in exchange for pay or product licenses?

Yes, has Articulate decided to include this functionality yet? They incorporate GSAP, why not this plugin?

Yes, adding the morph animation would be amazing. Seem like a lot of people would use it. Will continue to check here and hopefully will launch soon. : D

It's fun how I keep getting email updates on the requests for this feature. I am involved because I asked for this feature. Then over time, I have thought more about it. There must be a reason why Articulate has not made this a priority. Perhaps it is the file size or the amount of development time. Either way, I have been thinking more about how adult learning theory applies to this. Although this would be a striking upgrade there would be no improvement in learning; the morph transition would be more like a bell or whistle designers could use to impress stakeholders, not a tactic to promote deep understanding or knowledge retention. I vote that we have more reinforcement activity options in Rise or better collaboration options for team members in Rise. :o)

  Wise words, David! The reality is that the bells and whistles are often the striking difference between applications. As you mentioned, stakeholders, especially the decision makers, are key. The decision-makers will compare functionality between applications, looking for those features that are leading-edge. The users are pivotal in how to use those functions to differentiate themselves and the asset on behalf of the learners.
  
  Morphing is just one more feature Articulate can add to the functionality of Storyline. As to whether or not it is a priority, look to the competition and the leading-edge programs.

    In my opinion, Articulate doesn't have any competition. I am good with jobs that ask me to use Articulate; it is powerful, easy to design courses with, and has dependable outcomes. I am good.

Adding my vote to this - I'm desperate for a Morph transition! Using the video workaround is just not viable for my projects and workflow. PLEASE!

When people ask me how I do it after a presentation, PPT Morph is usually the answer. It's more powerful than most realize, and integrating it into Storyline 360 would be amazing! In the meantime, I'll keep adding small screenshots to my modules for that extra wow factor!
