Motion Paths

Is there a way to add two motion paths to one item?  I'm trying to give the learners a 360 degree feel to a picture, but I can't get two motion paths to work (from left to right, and then right to left).  Every time I try to do this it either gives me a fatal error message or the picture moves and is never where it's supposed to be.  Ugh.
