Request: Motion Path Reverse Option
If you've used motion paths, you've probably been frustrated by the need to have separate paths to move an object back and forth.
Wouldn't it be great if the Move trigger let you choose between moving in the original direction of the path or simply reversing that direction!?!
I envision the Trigger Wizard for this feature looking something like this:

If I may add, if we could also toggle other options with a trigger, such as relative position and orientation, it would be great :)
I second that idea. It would also be great if one could add an additional animation like fade in/fade out, or rotate item along the motion path, when setting the "original/reverse path" trigger.
I know this doesn't work in every case, but I found a work around for when I want shape to move back and forth in a straight line. You can use the square motion path to achieve this.
Transform the motion path by grabbing one of it's sides and moving it to overlap the other side - the motion path will look like a straight line when you're done. The duration of the path becomes however long you want the total forward and reversed motion to be.
That's a fantastic workaround for when one wants an objects to go back and forth right away! 👍
I'd still like to see them implement my feature suggestion, though, because it would make it easier to trigger the movement in each direction separately.
