Testing the behavior on my end with the NVDA screen reader I was unable to reproduce the same behavior. I used the Tab key to select the title of each slide and then used the up + down arrow keys to scroll through the multiple-choice answers. NVDA announced each of the highlighted elements accurately.
Can you please clarify which screen reader your colleague was using when they experienced these issues? Also, if you're willing to share a copy of the affected project file I'd be happy to test the behavior. Feel free to share it here in the discussion or privately through a support case.

Great move on sharing your project file through a support case! Yes, you are correct. We would need the actual .story file instead of the published SCORM package.
