Networking for further work

Good morning, 

I am an instructional designer and education writer with almost 15 years of experience. Due to my disability it is best if I work remotely from home. But this has severely limited my income. My current project will finish early next week. I have been looking for two years for a steady position and just can't find one. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places? Can anyone here assist or make suggestions? I have designed two different CV's and am unsure which one is best.
