Hello KanikaPunj-9e1c,
I’m excited to share that we've released a new Rise 360 update that includes:
- Enhanced: Easily change the language of uploaded or generated caption files.
There’s nothing to install for web-based apps. New features and fixes are immediately available!
Please let us know if you need any additional help!
Hi, JD3!
You should only see this toggle if you have an active AI Assistant subscription. To help me understand what's happening, are you currently seeing AI-generated captions? If so, are you collaborating on this course with another user?
Hi Kelly and JD3
I'm having exactly the same issue and I'd also like to be able to turn this feature off. I am currently seeing AI-generated captions. I am not collaborating with another user.
Also, I didn't ask for an AI-generated caption assist. I'm just asking to load a video. (We handle CC with another method.) I don't have the option opt out of this feature. I also don't see a toggle to turn it off, just as JD3 is describing. And the "processing captions" function never actually completes. I tried "refreshing" the screen to get it to stop. When I preview the course, closed captioning is there, but there is no button for a person to choose to turn it off.
I attempted to add a vtt file, to see what would happen. I got the CC button back, and I can turn closed captioning on and off, but, of course, the AI-generated CC is still there - all the time.
What's confusing to me is that I perform this function regularly. To my knowledge, my subscription has not changed. While I do see AI "teasers" in the software, none of them have been functional. They all lead to an invitation to upgrade.
Today is the first day I'm experiencing this issue.
