New in Rise 360: AI-Generated Captions (Beta)
Hi Everyone,
I'm happy to share that we just released a new update for Rise 360!
This update fixes the issue you ran into where:
- "Processing captions" loads indefinitely when replacing a video from Video Blocks, even when AI Assistant is disabled.
There's nothing to install for web apps, as new features and fixes are immediately available. Please let us know if you have any questions about this update or the issue you reported.
Kelly,
I sent a screenshot showing that Rise is "Processing captions," but I don't have a way to toggle that off. It will endlessly process. The video will finish processing, but I've waited up to 2 hours before refreshing the page in order to get the captions to stop processing.
Today's experience is a little different. Before, even though the caption processing was still in progress, I could see captions minus a CC button to turn them off. Today, the caption processing automatically starts (still no toggle to turn that off), but the captions don't show on the screen. This is good, because I can create captions the way I normally do, and I have a CC that gives my learners the option to turn them off.

Hello MABlack,
Thanks for the update and for sharing these details. I see that you're working with our colleague Carlo. I've passed this information along to him.
