Old articulate files
I have quite a collection of articulate files I have created over the years. This may seem like a silly question but I need to be sure about my next step...may I get rid of all the old versions that...

You only need to save all previous .story files if you might be required to provide proof of what was in any previous version of the course. This is sometimes necessary for courses in highly regulated industries.
Another reason to keep an older version is if it includes any interesting interactions that were deleted in subsequent versions. Then, if it's decided to include that interaction again, you could import it instead of having to re-create it.
Otherwise, there's no need to keep multiple versions of the same course.
However, I think it is a good idea to keep .story file for the current version intact. Do the updates in a copy. Then you won't have to re-create the entire course if the newer file gets corrupted.
