Play button at start of course because of closed captioning

Hi,

I understand that since Chrome 66 it isn't possible to autoplay audio or video.
So since then, I always incorporated a welcoming slide with a start button and without audio to avoid an ugly black slide with a play button.

Imagine my surprise that Storyline creates this screen again if you work with the generated closed captioning.

If I publish my content, Storyline then generates this overlay <div> "mobile-start-container". 

Is there a way to avoid/remove this black screen without deleting the generated closed captioning? Because now users have to click the black screen and then click a start button on the welcoming slide to start the training. Frustrating and redundant.

    Hello Erjen, 

    I'm sorry to hear that you ran into this issue. 

    We are currently tracking a known issue where a play button shows even if there is no media file on the first slide and there are closed captions present in the slide. One workaround is to downgrade your installation to Storyline 360 Update 81. 

    I've added this community post to the bug report so we can drop a message here as soon as a fix is released. We're very sorry for any inconvenience this bug may have caused!

    Hello Jose,

    Thank you for your reply.
    So the latest version isn't really an upgrade then...Would be nice if future versions and new functions are thoroughly tested before they are released too hastily, to avoid asking customers to downgrade. I hope there will be a fix soon.

      You are correct, Erjen; I'm glad to confirm that Storyline 360 (Build 3.83.31444.0) includes the fix for the bug where a play button shows even if there is no media file on the first slide and there is a closed caption file. Thanks for the positive feedback, and you're most welcome!
