Preview Slide and Preview Scene not showing the same interaction
I want a layer to show whether the answer selected is correct or incorrect when users click continue. I managed to make it work when I previewed slide, but when I previewed scene, the feedback layers wouldn't show and it just jumped to the next slide. Can someone tell me what went wrong? Thank you!

Fortunately, you included some triggers in your screen shot, so I can help a little bit. The Continue button needs only the first trigger: “Submit interaction”. Showing the feedback layers (if they haven’t been changed too much) is part of the Submit action. I don’t think that is causing the problem you describe, but duplicating built-in functions with your own triggers certainly can cause problems. Generally, the feedback layers also handle jumping to the next slide. The fact that it works with one slide, but not several makes me think that some of those triggers have been changed.
There’s no way of knowing for sure without seeing the .story file. Please attach it here.
Troubleshooting is just guessing without seeing the .story file. If you upload it, someone might be able to solve the issue. Here are the best practices for attaching a .story file:
- Only include slides that are related to the problem.
- Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
- If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.

I'll add to Walt's always-excellent advice.
I noticed that the layers are called "Incorrect Feedback" and "Correct Feedback." By default, Storyline's graded questions names the feedback layers "Incorrect" and "Correct." As Walt said, the "Submit [interaction]" trigger automatically shows the appropriate layer based on what answers the user selected. To work properly, keep the default layer names.
Also, Hover is a built-in state. You don't need any triggers to have it show.
