Forum Discussion

  • Hello and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊

I appreciate you sharing what you are currently experiencing with your software installation.

The video shows that your cursor pointer and chosen choices are different.

    • Are you using an external monitor?
      • Do you see the same behavior if this is disconnected?
    • What is your screen display set to?
      • I'd recommend setting the scale and layout to 100%.
  • Hi! Thanks a lot for the feedback.

I'm not using an external monitor.

The video shows that every time I try to select something in a popup-like tool menu it closes and doesn't make the correct choice.

Thank you for adding additional details! I understand this is only occurring when selecting an item from the toolbar in Storyline 360. If you make the Storyline 360 window smaller, does the same behavior happen when hovering over the toolbar?

Lastly, do you have others in your organization experiencing the same issue?

  • This happens often to me, I close the program and reopen it again and after that, it works normally again. But it happens again and again. No reporting of this fact with the other members of my team.

  • Did you follow the repair steps here? Please complete every step listed for your version of Windows. If you've completed all the steps, can you provide more details about your machine’s set up compared to other members of your team?

  • Hi, has anyone found a solution to this problem? I'm facing the same problem, I've tried all the suggested steps, including the "repair steps". It just doesn't work, it's been quite frustrating, I've been looking for solutions for days. Along with the problems already mentioned, the attached messages also appear for me.
    Please could someone help me?

      Hello!

Are you saving your files locally?

We recommend always saving and publishing Storyline projects on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or an external USB drive can cause erratic behavior due to latency. For example, it could cause file corruption or prevent you from saving changes.
