Problems keeping Objects hidden

I have a problem with the "hidden" state.
I have some quiz slides. I want green check marks to be displayed next to the correct answer.
I select my initial state as "hidden" and then trigger that the state of the object should change to "normal" when the variable state changes to "Questin Correct".
It works on some slides, but not on others.
Is this a known problem? Is there a solution?

    There might be something wrong with the trigger. For example, it could be referencing the wrong variable.

    Troubleshooting is just a “best guess” without seeing the .story file. Here are the best practices for uploading that:

    • Only include slides that are involved in the problem. 
      • When one or two slides in a quiz aren't working, it's okay to include the entire quiz. 
    • Be sure objects, layers, motion paths, and variables have meaningful names.
    • If there is proprietary content, replace or delete it. For example, replace proprietary text with “ipsum lorem” text.
