Forum Discussion
Publish in Web
Hi!
I'm creating a web based training, however sometimes when I try to preview slides it doesn't work. There then comes an error notification.
Now I wanted to preview the whole project by turning it to an .html file (via publish in web). This also doesn't work and there is always an error notification.
Those functions are working with other projects and I've already tried it with my project being on the hard desk.
Maybe you've had the same problem? I would love some advice.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi,
Could you provide us with a screenshot of the error message?
Regards,
Marc

Hi Security Academy,
I see that Marc and Jürgen have got you covered here. I'm just popping in to share that preview or publishing errors can sometimes be caused by corrupt elements in the project. Have you tried importing the slides to a new Storyline project to see if it helps?
If the error persists after importing the slides, do you mind attaching your project to this discussion or privately in a support case so we can try to nail down the cause of the problem? We'll delete it when we're done testing.
I appreciate your patience!
