Publish to Word - Layers Generated in Reverse Order

I'm not sure which of the recent updates changed this, but suddenly my team's e-learning publish to word files show layers in reverse order (last layer is shown first / first layer is shown last). This is forcing us to reverse the order of our layers so that our word docs show the layers in their logical order. Was this change accidental (a bug) or intentional (a fix or feature)?

Thanks,
Gio

Just adding my voice to this bug as well. I'm experiencing the same behaviour and it's driving our team nuts. We need to send PDF copies of our courses out with Review versions for comments from multiple parties (Articulate Review comments can't be used for a couple of our courses). We now need to go into every Word publish and reverse the layers so it displays properly. This is taking far too much time.  I can't downgrade my version because we need a couple of the bug fixes from the latest releases. Please get this repaired!

  • Hello Gio,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I can confirm that I can replicate the behavior using the last 2 updates of Storyline 360 and that the order of the layers appears to be correct in Update 89 and earlier. I've filed this as a bug with our product team so they can investigate these recent changes. As a workaround, please consider republishing your courses using Update 90 if you need the order of the layers to be correct in the Word output.

We appreciate you taking the time to share this behavior, and we'll let you know when we have any updates to share!
