publishing 'microleaning' into Cornerstone on Demand LMS issue

Tried to publish Microlearning.  1st publish (export), no issues and the SCORM 2004 v13 loaded into the LMS for Testing. Testing identified a grammar issue.  Therefore, I fixed this issue in the Microlearning, and re-published the version.  Then, exported once more to the LMS, SCORM 2004 v13.  However, this time when I loaded into the LMS for Testing I got this error message (attached)

  • Hi Aimee,

Can you try uploading the updated course on another LMS like SCORM CloudThis article will help explain how to do that.

If the issue is also occurring in SCORM Cloud, reach out to our support team here.  We'll help out with investigating what is happening with your updated course.  If the issue is only occurring in your LMS, reach out to their support to check on the errors.

    Hello,

You need to create on CSOD a new version of the content, you cannot modify/replace the existing content with the new one.

At least with a Rise module, because each export changes parameters in the manifest fileā€¦ And that CSOD considers there to be major changes, therefore refuses to acknowledge the modification. Which is not at all the case with a Storyline module, where when there are minor modifications, CSOD agrees to modify the content without having to create a new version.
