Publishing to Word replaces text with number strings

I need to create a PDF of my Storyline project for legal and regulatory review at my company. When I publish to Word (so that I can then export to PDF), the text on my feedback layers is replaced by number strings. I have previously published this project to Word without an issue, so I'm not sure why SL is doing this now. I have tried repairing SL but had no luck. Has anyone had this issue and found a fix?
