Quiz Becomes Unresponsive when Published
Hello,
My emodule quiz becomes unresponsive when I publish it - the check boxes and redial buttons in the multiple choice and True/False questions don't respond with the user clicks on them. It's OK when I preview it, but not published.
I copy and pasted just the quiz into a new project and tested it, and that works.
Suggestions?
Thanks

Hello Jerry,
Thanks for reaching out and including your file! In my test, I was able to select the multiple-choice and T/F choices. Here's a quick Peek recording of my test.
- What are you publishing to when the question choices are unresponsive? Review, LMS, the Web?
- Have you tried importing the troublesome file into a new blank Storyline file rather than copy/pasting the quiz slides to see if that helps?
It might be helpful if you could do a screen recording of your steps. I'm staying tuned for your response so we can continue troubleshooting!

Hi Becca,
So there was an update to Storyline this morning, so I did that and now the quiz works in the emodule. The quiz in the standalone file worked prior to the update.
Have you noticed that when Storyline files get large that problems and glitches crop up? The emodule I've been working has over 20 short video clips and several interactive elements. As I was building it, I would test it. No issues would crop up at first, but as it got bigger a few strange glitches like the quiz failing to work. Also, animation started to get wonky - I'd have text fly in by the paragraph and the last line would get cropped off, or two lines in a bulleted list would fly together and not as I had set them in the timeline (if that makes sense). Super frustrating.
Thanks,

Hello again, Jerry!
Thank you for taking the time to share those extra details. I can't say I've seen the issue you're describing where glitches pop up as the file gets larger, but that's not to say there isn't something going on in your case.
I can understand how this is getting frustrating, so I'd love it if you could work directly with one of our support engineers. I've gone ahead and opened a case on your behalf and sent you a private upload link to share the troublesome file if possible. As soon as one of my teammates has tested your file, they'll reach out with the next step!
