Quiz feedback in Rise
Is it possible to give specific feedback for correct or incorrect on a quiz question or is there only one available option for feedback?
Hi folks! I'm happy to let you know that you can now make quizzes more challenging. Show learners feedback without revealing correct answers! Find out how in this article. Enjoy!

I will chime in on this as well. The need to provide feedback but not reveal the answer is paramount. This provides an opportunity to engage in re-teaching without saying 'and the correct answer is....'.
One additional component - it would be great to allow video-based feedback as well.

The real problem is that in using feedback, it gives the same response in both correct and incorrect selections. Misleading, because incorrect may say "Correct! .....".

Thanks for checking in, Z! We're still tracking this request, so thanks for letting us know it's important to you. If we add this feature to Rise in the future, we'll share the news right here in this discussion!
Hi Lesley,
Currently there is the option to give feedback for each question, but we're looking at answer level feedback as a part of the '17 roadmap. I don't have a more narrowed ETA yet, but we'll keep folks posted here in the E-Learning Heroes community!

Any news on this yet? Possible workarounds in the meantime?

I agree with @Karen Pizur. The standard 'Correct' and 'Incorrect' are not always appropriate. It would be nice to have those as default with the ability to custom. Sometimes questions are used more as gauge for feedback and stating 'incorrect' is not the most appropriate.
Also, to @Lesley Condon's original question, is there an ETA of providing quiz feedback? This is a basic tenant of learning and a necessary feature.
Really appreciate your participation, Brian!
I'll share your point with our team–and since you've commented, you're automatically subscribed to this discussion where we'll share all updates. Thanks again!

Is there any progress on this - as we need the ability to repeat the quiz (without giving the feedback for the first 2 attempts but then providing it on the third if the learner has not achieved 80% for the quiz.

+1 for giving feedback (1 feedback for all or correct/incorrect feedback) but NOT revealing the answers. :)
We want a quiz at the end of the course which the user has to pass for the certificate. As there are a lot of questions, because the course is pretty large, we want to give the user a hint, where to repeat the chapter to solve the incorrect answered question but without having the solution.
Edit: And maybe the same option in Rise to only retry the incorrect answers which is coming for SL360. :D That would be really nice.
Thanks for this feedback Susi! We'll let you know when we have an update here.

The ability to allow for quiz feedback without providing the correct answer is crucial. Creating quizzes in Storyline is clunky and does not flow well. Please push this feature request to the top of the list- honestly, it is a basic requirement that ALL users need. I have already submitted a feature request for this ages ago. Maybe view it as a bug..no instructor would ever choose to have the correct answer visible in a quiz. That should be a distinguishing feature between a quiz and knowledge check. Please fix this!!
