Quiz results slide triggers changing state.
Hi,
I have a question and not understanding why this happens and confused on how it all works.
I have a results slide with slide triggers for showing layer success and layer failure. When set up the first time, it defaults to "If Results.ScorePoints ≥ variable Results.PassPoints". If I got into the Quiz Settings to change a parameter, such as the passing score, it automatically adds a "1" to the trigger and is now "If Results1.ScorePoints ≥ variable Results1.PassPoints".
Why and will my complete course trigger work properly because there is no "1" in it's description? (see attached image). In the image, the "1" showed up after I changed the pass percent. Wouldn't the text within the trigger need to be similar for it to work properly?
Thank you,
Chris

Hi Chris!
Thanks for reaching out and sharing that screenshot! Happy to help here 😊
You're correct! In order for the Complete course as Completed/Passed trigger to work, you'll want the variable names to all match up.
I'd recommend deleting the result slide and inserting a new one. Here's a 2-minute recording of my thoughts.
Keep me posted! If that doesn't help, I'm happy to take a look at your file! Feel free to click that Add Attachment button or keep it private here. I'm staying tuned for your response!

Hi Becca,
Thanks so much for taking the time to record that short video and explain the phenomena that I'm seeing. That was my hunch and, you are correct, I was copy and pasting within a project and I presume that is not best practice to do so. I'm beginning to learn some of these lessons.
Take care,
