State Not Changing on Layers

The states don't change for me, either, if I use the Timeline's Play button to view a layer when the slide is in edit mode. That function doesn't run triggers. (For more info: Storyline 360: Working with the Timeline | Articulate - Community )
To properly test a slide's interactivity, use Preview.
Hi, here is the slide with the layers. Michael, Anna, and Grace layers should all of their avatars change at certain points on their timelines. I'm sure it's something silly. Thanks for looking into it.
