Recording audio by the learner on Storyline
Hi All,
So my client wants me to allow the learner to read out something and record their voice, and this should be stored in LMS where the teacher will be able to listen to their recording and mark them on it.
Anybody has done this or knows how this can be done? Any tips will be helpful.
Thanks in advance

I'm looking for a similar feature! As far as I can tell, there is no easy way to do this.
Hi Chaitali and Brooke,
I appreciate you taking the time to share what you’d like to see in Storyline 360! We currently have a feature request logged to allow a learner to record their voice. I’ll add your votes, and we’ll update this discussion if this feature makes it on our feature roadmap.
One thing you can try in the meantime is to look for an audio recording tool online that you can embed as a web object in your Storyline 360 course. I hope this helps!

Is there a suggestion for this option? I used Flipgrid previously but now that has moved to Teams and is not accessible in the same way.
Hello Kimberly!
There isn't currently a feature in Storyline 360 where learners can record their own voice to upload. I will share this request with our product team and keep you updated on the progress!

I'm returning to this thread and would love for this audio recording tool to become a reality. The embed as a web object is quite finicky and has a lot of glitches for students recording audio.

NRZMalik a wellknown developer i know from LinkedIN has a solution for recording audio directly from within Storyline.
Here he shared all of the things he developed. Really great.
