Recording Screen - Try Mode Steps - Text input field not generated - bug

Hi folks, 

I am having trouble with Storyline 360 when recording the screen to capture the typed text in an input field within a web browser app, or form etc. Using the 'Try mode steps' option does not generate a slide with a text input field with the text copy in 'Form View'.

I have seen multiple discussions here and it still seems to be a longstanding issue which the product cannot resolve. I have uninstalled the 360 application a few times and reinstalled, however the issue persists.

Would anyone know of any specific settings that may have been implemented in the recent patches?

Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for reaching out and I'm so sorry that you're experiencing this issue!

    I looked into Amelia's case, and the issue they were experiencing is related to a possible software bug where try mode is not generating a text entry quiz slide when screen recording a web form. A workaround that has worked for others is to add a new slide with screenshots of the web form and create the text-entry quiz slide manually.

    If you're comfortable sharing your file with our team, we'd be happy to take a closer look to confirm that what you're seeing is related to this bug. You can upload your project here or privately in a support case. We'll delete it from our systems once troubleshooting is complete.
