Removing or Hiding the Previous/Next Buttons?
Hi There! I'm using Storyline to put together a (really cool) museum-style interaction that will play on a touch screen computer at a historical site! I'd like to essentially make the interaction play full screen at 1280X720, so I've gone in and set all of the player elements as transparent. Here's my question: I have gotten rid of everything but the previous and next buttons- how do I turn these off?
Thanks!

Hi all,
I found one way to do this:

Thanks for popping in to share Melissa. Just want the community to be aware that the modification of published output is not supported by Articulate.

Excellent fix Sam! thanks!!!
Hi Joe,
You may want to test this in a few different environments as it may be the load time of your server/LMS or overall connection that is causing them to be visible for a brief moment before disappearing. There isn't a way to stop them altogether though as they'll reappear as a part of the review functionality.

Thanks for the reply. It's playing locally on a new computer, so is there a way to remove them altogether so this doesn't happen? Custom player maybe? I see this but maybe it refers to Storyline 1?
Hi Joe,
Are you publishing for CD or another local spot or just testing the published output locally? If the latter, I'd recommend uploading it to the intended environment to properly test.
I do know that a number of users mentioned removing all elements of the player to ensure that the next/prev buttons had no space to show up - but I can't guarantee that'll always work. You can view the directions here on how to remove the player elements.

Is it possible to hide or dim the inbuilt player PREVIOUS / NEXT buttons? I can disable them from working but the problem is the button state doesn't dim, so it looks active. I want a greyed out version and only when my SlideComplete variable is met (timeline ends) they become visible again.
You can certainly set a trigger for the Prev/Next buttons to be hidden when the timeline starts, then have them be in 'normal' state when the timeline ends/variable changes.

Thanks, found it. In Trigger Wizard, On Object, Next Button, use To State, Hidden, when timelines Starts.
Perfect! Glad you were able to find what you were looking for. Good luck with the rest of your project.
