Restrict lesson in a course to specific team
I am working on a security course, and I want to restrict access to a couple of lessons based on their teams.
Ex. The lesson Security Debt should be only viewable to employees whose divisions are business systems, engineering platforms, etc.
I’ve always been curious about this idea. Would it be ok if the user could see it if they wanted to but it’s just conditionally hidden based on their role? Or is the information sensitive and they should have no ability to see the lesson?
There's not really an easy way to completely restrict the lesson. Normally, that type of functionality is done by the LMS.
In Rise you can use button states to direct people to specific content. Here's a mock up I made a while ago for a similar question.
