Restrict Navigation feature issue
Hi Articulate Team,
We’ve recently enabled the Restrict Navigation feature in our Rise 360 modules to ensure a structured learning flow. Since applying this setting, we’ve noticed inconsistent behavior in how lesson completion is being tracked.
In the attached example, only the final lesson ("Let’s Review”) is marked as complete, while all preceding sections remain incomplete — even after being opened and fully viewed. This is creating issues with overall completion tracking and learner progress on our LMS.
We’ve tested the exact same SCORM package on SCORM Cloud, where it works perfectly. However, on our internal LMS platform, the issue persists and appears to affect users randomly.
Could you advise whether this behavior may be related to LMS compatibility with the Restrict Navigation feature?
Would an LMS update or specific configuration be required to ensure accurate completion tracking when Restrict Navigation is enabled?
Any guidance or clarification would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi PrinceBooysens,
Thanks for the details and the screenshot! Since the course works correctly in SCORM Cloud, Rise 360 is reporting completion data properly.
The issue likely stems from how your LMS stores or processes suspend data when Restrict Navigation is enabled.
If your LMS supports it, try publishing to SCORM 2004 (3rd or 4th Edition) to give it more space to handle suspend data reliably.
