First, an FYI that Storyline 1 is now at V6. This support page has a link to the download for the update and to the release notes.
Regarding your question, the Previous button in Storyline always returns Learners to the last viewed slide. It sounds like all your videos are being launched from a main page. Learners will click on a video link, and jump to the scene/slide where the video resides. If this is the case, what should happen is that clicking the Previous button will return them to the main page.
Or, perhaps I'm misunderstanding...wouldn't be the first time!
