Has anyone else had a issue with the "previous slide" trigger"
this is not the project I am working on but the problem persists even when i open a new project.
It works, but in a different way than we initially expect. Here’s a more detailed explanation from Articulate.

Can you clarify what problem you are experiencing?

I am using a picture as a button and adding a trigger jump to previous slide when user clicks said picture, standard built in trigger. as you can see from the image the trigger flow shows it is a loop. indicating it is going to the same slide the trigger is set on, not the previous slide.

Change Jump to slide previous slide to Jump to slide 1.1 Untitled Slide. Does it make any difference?

The previous slide trigger does not show as an arrow because it is not jumping to a specific slide. A circular reference shows differently as a circle in the corner.
The icon at the bottom is just to help you link to the next slide. - PhilFollett-df3Community Member
thanks Phi, but should it not still jump to the previous slide? it isn't
Hi PhilFollett-df3,
Happy to chime in!
I wanted to clarify that the "previous slide" in Storyline 360 refers to the last slide the viewer viewed, not the slide placed before the current slide in the slide order.
Take for example 3 slides, A, B, and C placed in that order in a course. If you visit the slides in the order A -> C -> B, then trigger a "jump to previous slide " in Slide B, you'll be taken to Slide C and not Slide A.
Hope this clarifies the behavior you're experiencing!

yes and no. All i want them to do is to view the slide they last viewed. but when i use this trigger nothing happens at all. it stays on the slide they are on.
