Able to translate "trigger"s in Storyline?
Hello!
I am looking to translate a short training that we have created in Storyline into a few different languages. I wasn't sure however, how this works when you have built-in Triggers in the course. For example, I have selected to have the "Next" and "Previous" button trigger functionality, how do I go about translating these so that when people take the course in their chosen language, it shows as Next, Previous etc in that language?
Appreciate any help!!
Hi katie17,
Happy to help!
Happy to help! It sounds like you're translating your Storyline course into multiple languages and want to make sure the buttons on the Player are translated, too! First, changing the language won't impact the functionality of the built-in triggers so you are all set there! But, you will need to modify the player labels within the Player settings. We have multiple languages to choose from if that will help for a quick setup but you can also export the labels to translate them and then reimport back in Storyline 360.
Please let us know if you have any other questions about translations!
