"Return to slide" rather than "Jump to slide" ?
Hi Stephen,
Tx for clarifying. What I would do in that case (and again, I may be misunderstanding, so just say so!) is to create a Home button so Learners could return to the main menu from any slide.
I put something together, since it's easier sometimes to walk through it than to conceptualize it in your head.
There are 4 scenes in the attached:
Main menu, with access to the other 3 scenes.
The other scenes.
Each scene has 2 slides, with a video image on the slide (a stand-in for a real video)
Each slide has a home button on it.The home button has a trigger to jump to the Main Menu.
You CAN create this button on one slide, and copy and paste it onto all the other slides, and that may be what you want to do for now. Sometimes when you're new you don't want TMI!
In case you do more information, here's what I did. I actually placed the button on the Slide Master for the Blank slide layout. To see it, you'd click View >Slide Master. Then click on the Blank Layout.
BUT (there's always a but, isn't there)
The button won't work if it's on the Base Layer of the Master slide, so you'll see I've placed it on a new layer.
AND in order to get that to work
I placed a trigger on the Base Layer to show Layer 1 when the timeline of the base layer.
That's a LOT if you're new
Anyway, would that accomplish what you're after?
