"Return to slide" rather than "Jump to slide" ?
Thanks for all the help. I can see the benefit of your solution - very elegant.
I'm trying to accomplish something a little more complex. I have a main scene which has buttons to jump to 5 other scenes. From any slide in any scene I want to be able to pop-up a video and return to the slide that was left. I can do this with normal jumps if the video is contained on one slide, but if there is navigation in the target, I can only accomplish it with lightboxes.
Here's an image of my story:
I was kind of hoping there would be a "return to scene" function with the option to resume scene in saved state. Since I would not know which scene was active when the user jumped to the safety video, it could not be just a "Jump to scene".
The course is intended to provide safety instruction to railroad employees by giving them simulations of track activities, and letting them pop-up specific video instruction of how to line a switch correctly, or get on/off moving equipment etc. These would be meaningful to the user at any point during the course, so they are just invoked by a click on a persistent video button.
Now you know what prompted my query in the first place.I'm sure I'm missing an easy solution, but I can't think of one. Your option to jump to the main menu would not let the user return to a specific point in a specific scene the way i want.
But it's still very elegant!
Thanks.
