Revert back to text to speech, from AI Audio text to speech - HELP
Is there a way to change my voice back to regular text to speech after using AI voices text? I am asking this because it was very easy to convert my text to speech to an AI voice during the trial (that I didn't know was a trial, somehow, I missed that) and I had updated the voices in a couple of trainings. Now, if and when, which will be soon, I may have to edit those text and now I cannot. There was a LOT of text that I cannot convert back to regular text-to-speech which is a huge inconvenience.
When I right-click and select Audio, text to speech, it wants me to enter brand new text. I shouldn't have to because it was already there.
It seems that this should be a feature to revert back to just as easily as it was to convert to. Unfortunately, the only way to get my original text to voice back is to upgrade, which because of pending policies on AI, I cannot do that the moment.
Hello KatrinaHunter-c! I'm not familiar with a way to revert the audio after converting the text using AI voices, but that doesn't mean it can't be done. I'd like to enlist our Senior Support Engineers to take a look at your file to determine what is the best way to approach this. I've started a case on your behalf so you should've received an email from support@articulate.com From here, it would be helpful if you could provide your file for them to test!
Lastly, you mentioned that the text is missing from the text-to-speech window. When you right-click the AI text-to-speech file on the timeline and select AI text-to-speech, the narration text should display. In your reply to the email, can you also share what slide you're seeing this behavior on?

Thank you for the kind reply and yes, I will send the files.
I will send the video showing what options appear when I try to edit the text. I select "replace audio>> text to speech>>> and then an empty box appears. I thought it would be same text for the speech, but it is empty. :-(
