Review 360 comments missing

I had a reviewer leave a ton of comments two weeks ago when I was on vacation, but she was unable to see them in the "feedback" section and I cannot see them, nor was I notified. Is there anything I can do to recover those comments?

    We had the same issue a couple weeks ago.  My boss made many comments in a review and none of them show up and he has to do it again.  We were never able to recover them and when testing again, they were showing up.  Very frustrating because it is hard to get my reviewer pinned down to review, and having to do it again has not happened yet.

  • Hi HeidiHeath-5184 and DanaLorz, thanks for flagging this. I’m sorry to hear some comments aren’t showing up. That’s definitely concerning.

    Would you mind checking a couple of things?

    • Was a new version of the course published?
      • Comments don’t carry over if the course was republished as a new Review item, but they’ll still be visible in the previous version.
    • Were any comments marked as resolved?
      • Resolved comments are hidden by default. Just click your profile picture and select Show Resolved Comments to reveal them.

      1. No this was the latest version of the course, I went through to see if there were any comments in old versions and there weren't.
      2. Some old comments were marked as resolved but I did try the show resolved comments tab as well to test it. 
      3. My boss who was reviewing noted that each time she submitted a comment it said that I would be notified and she thought it was strange nothing showed up on the feedback page. I was never notified of her new comments. She has reviewed many courses over the years and this was her first encounter with that issue.

        Thanks so much for following up with these details. It's odd that your boss was unable to see their own comments after leaving them. Were they signed in with their Articulate ID? Additionally, are they able to leave comments on other courses?

        If may be a good idea to have another colleague leave a test comment on your course to help isolate the issue. If you're willing to share the Review link here or privately with our team, we'd be happy to take a closer look as well!

      Good question on the versions. I know I originally sent the link for version 1.  There were comments to that version that I resolved, then uploaded the updated version.  When my boss finally made his comments, version 2 was probably where he went.  I'm assuming the link will open the most recent version and the comments would be made there, but perhaps that is incorrect.

      None of my bosses' comments were resolved.  When we looked at it together about 2 weeks ago, he put in test comments, and they did show up.

        Hi DanaLorz,

        Yes, if you publish an updated version of an existing item, the Review link will remain the same. The reviewer will see the updated version of the course when accessing the link. I you happened to create a new item, the link will be different. Are you willing to share your Review link here or privately with us in a case for further testing?
