Review Email notificiations to SMEs - Review
Hi tjniko!
Happy to help with this!
In Review 360, when 'Requesting Review,' the user has the option to include a personal message. This message will be visible on your end, as well as included in the e-mail sent to your reviewers.
Are you referring to additional language that may appear in the e-mail? If so, Review 360 does include a default greeting in the e-mail: [AUTHOR NAME] has requested your review on: [COURSE TITLE].
Currently, Review 360 doesn't support opening the full e-mail message prior to sending a Review Request.
Actually, what I'm saying is I'd like to see what I wrote in the box after I've sent it. I asked my manager to forward the email she got because I can see from your screen shot that it's included in her email. I wanting a way to see that as well. Like if it could copy me on the message it sends to her. Or if I could see it in Articulate/Review somewhere.
She also said that she didn't see anything I wrote, and I wanted to confirm that. I actually typed a bulleted list there but now have no access to the list.

Hi tjniko!
Thanks for following up!
Currently, Review 360 does not support a 'CC' option when sending a Review Request. Nor is there a 'sent items' folder within Review 360. I see how that functionality could be useful, so I'll share this feedback with our product team! In the meantime, as a workaround, I suggest manually including your e-mail address as one of the recipients, so you can receive a copy as well.
Also, you mentioned your colleague received your Review Request e-mail, but the message you included was absent? That shouldn't be happening! Do you know if they are using a web browser to access their inbox, and if the same behavior is present across multiple browsers?
If the problem persists, please connect with our team through a support case so we can take a closer look into this issue.

Hi StevenBenassi,
I agree and have the same request as having a CC or an option to review "Request Review" messages would be incredibly helpful. Any update on this feature?

Hi ChristinaBro288,
Thanks for adding your voice here. I can see how having a CC option or a way to review your sent Review Request messages would make things a lot easier, especially when you’re coordinating across multiple reviewers.
As StevenBenassi mentioned earlier, one workaround is to add your own email address as a recipient when you send a Review Request, so you’ll get the same message your reviewers receive. Not perfect, I know, but it can help you keep a copy for reference.
We don’t have this functionality in Review 360 today, but I’ve shared your feedback with our product team so they can consider it for future updates.
Appreciate you taking the time to share how this would help your workflow.

To add to the request, it would be great to set up templates with instructions that can be different depending on the level of review. It's very frustrating trying to explain to SMEs/Reviewers how to keep all their comments from being in the same comment. My mgr was swearing she wasn't doing that, but I made her screen share, and she absolutely was not scrolling back up to the top to create a new comment. This is what led me to create a very detailed email with instructions for reviewing for new reviewers. Then I wanted to send to someone else, and it was nowhere. I have been adding myself to the email, but it makes me another reviewer. Please, a sent mail folder would be amazing, templates would be icing.

Hello tjniko,
Thanks for sharing more about how you are using Review 360! I understand how important it is to keep a copy of the messages you send, and I can see how reusable templates for reviewer instructions would save you time when working with new SMEs.
I have shared both of these ideas with our product team for consideration. A sent items view and the option to build templates could make the review process smoother and give you more control over communication with reviewers.
I appreciate you taking the time to describe your needs in detail. Feedback like this helps us see where the workflow can improve.
