Revisiting Visited Slides

I have a series of 6 slides that are essentially 1 page to the learner. However, each slide has it's own timing, interactivity, and animation, and advances to the next page seamlessly and automatically. It runs through once beautifully. I programed the "Previous" button on the next page to go to the first page in the series, so the learner can start the series over and go through again as before. For some reason, StoryLine remembers that these slides have been visited, and zips to the end of each slide like flipping through them like a deck of cards to the 6th slide. How can I tell StoryLine to start each slide from the beginning instead of zooming through each one to the end of the 6th after going through once?

I know I can combine all 6 slides into one, but that would end up being a very large, heavily programmed slide, and take a long time to figure out.  I'm hoping to not have to do that.

  • I think what you are looking for is at the bottom right side of each slide. There is a little GEAR looking icon. When you click on it a menu will pop up. On that menu you will find a drop down for When revisiting: change it to Reste to initial state. Then when the learner returns the slide start all over.

That totally did it.  Thank You!!  If I could I'd email you a candy bar in appreciation.  Thanks again!
