AI text-to-audio on the way?
Similar to the coming text-to-video feature for Rise, will there also be a text-to-audio function?
If there were, I could use to give people an audio alternative to reading a specific block of text, in cases where a video would be overkill. The idea would be to have the AI-generated audio at the top of the body text for each sub-section of a lesson.
I know there are other, non-Articulate products out there that do this, but if it were built into Rise, that would save me a ton of back-and-forth work. Plus, it would significantly shorten the time for pre-flight, since I wouldn't want to generate audio until all the body made it through final review.
Hi Chance,
Thanks for reaching out!
There isn't a way to create text-to-speech in Rise 360 directly. We have a feature request logged for this, so added you to the list.
One workaround would be creating your material and adding text-to-speech in Storyline, then inserting the course as a block in Rise 360.

Hi Jose,
We would also like this feature. Is there any update on the feature request and could you add us to the list?
Hi Premium Health,
I've added your comments to this request. We'll update this discussion if we have news to share!

Do we have an ETA on this. It seems odd that with accessibility being of such importance that this has not been rolled out over both platforms.
Hi LisaChamberlain!
Thanks for checking in on this!
I don't have any updates to share at this time as our development team prioritizes other features. Not to worry! I've included you in the feature report and will notify you if it makes it onto our Feature Roadmap.
