Rise - text no longer automatically adjusts when pasted from Word to Rise
Last week it seems to have reverted again, and now we have to manually clear formatting. Can there please be an option to have it clear the formatting when pasting? I understand that some people want to hold their source formatting, but I work from multiple sources, so I set the themes in Rise so that the finished product is consistent. Having to highlight the Rise text, delete it, then clear the formatting of what I copy before pasting is time consuming (doesn't seem like much, but it adds up!) We can't just highlight the Rise sample text and press Ctrl+V to paste over it anymore. Except for headings - it seems to work for that.

Rise started using a new text editor this week.

As I stated above, if you are using the Chrome browser to create your Rise course, when you have copied text from another source, when pasting it unto Rise, right-click and choose Paste as plain text to remove any formatting.

Thanks for the information about the update Karl! And yes - that is what I'm doing, but it was much faster before to be able to highlight the sample text in Rise and simply hit Ctrl-V to paste new content over it. Now I have to highlight and delete the sample text in Rise, then right click and paste as plain text. I know it may sound negligible, but it really does take more time this way - so I did prefer the option to have it cleared. At least that's how it works for me - I can't just highlight the sample text and then right click to paste in the new cleared text - doesn't seem to work. For empty blocks, it's not a big deal - but there's a lot of sample text in most of them :-)
