Rise 360 functionality
Logged in today (20 July) and found new, apparently mandatory pic required in course description pane. How do I get rid of that?
Also no options left to customise courses - or has that moved somew...
I'm sorry for the confusion. The new template structure has all of the customization options now. So you can go in there and modify what you want.
Since it's a new process, older courses need to migrate into that structure. Thus when you first open the course, it looks like you need an image. But if you go to the templates you can see the current template and keep that or switch to a new one.

Still not understanding though - if you go to course image: EDIT. There is nowhere to remove pic completely.
Options are about replacing from own or image library or resizing.

Hi Sarah! We've made changes to the cover page behavior that was released with the new Theme features.
Course cards on your dashboard will reflect the option you've selected for your cover page layout. We've also removed the cover image from the outline when editing your course.
This means that if you've selected an option without an image, you won't see any cover image we've suggested on your course cards. I hope this helps, and please let us know how else the new Theme features are working out for you!
(edited to note that we've removed images from the course outline entirely, regardless if they're selected in the cover page layout)
