Rise: Image resolution issues
We've always had some issues with uploaded images not being very crisp and clear inside of Rise. You can really notice it on screen shots. We notice low resolution no matter which type of block we upload an image to.
Things i've tried to improve resolution:
- all different file types (png, svg, jpg, gif)
- placing _NOPROCESS_ after the file name
- clicking the 'preserve file quality'
- making sure the image size is uploaded for the block and is 16:9
- saving from different programs (Ps, Ai, Camtasia etc)
- uploading the screen shot with and without edits
- taking screenshots in different programs (Camtasia, Snaggit, AwesomeScreenShot, windows screen shot program)
Nothing seems to improve the quality to a nice crisp and clean version. Anyone else? Any other tips and tricks we haven't thought about?

Hello, came here after researching the exact same issue with a course I'm developing and frustrated that this is still an issue with little or no indication of how to resolve the overall blurriness of images in Rise courses. It also doesn't help that Rise has no way to use an image at a 1:1 ratio to avoid the poor image upsampling/downsampling algorithm, aside from the small/medium/large options. I'll reach out to support, but c'mon guys... this is why people get grumpy about Articulate development.
this was the findings, still not up to our standards of clarity on screenshots
1) 300 DPI image
- When I uploaded this file without the _NOPROCESS_ tag on the filename, the image seems to be a bit blurry even when zoomed
- When I added the _NOPROCESS_ tag to the filename, the quality has drastically improved.
2) 72 DPI image
- When I uploaded this file without the _NOPROCESS_ tag on the filename, the image seems to be a bit blurry even when zoomed
- When I added the _NOPROCESS_ tag to the filename, the quality has drastically improved. But the 300 DPI has better quality.
It is expected that the quality of the image when not on Zoom is degraded, which is why it is advisable to enable the Zoom capability on the image.

Hi, I would like to know if this issue has been resolved? I have been encountering the same issue. Previously it works for NOPROCESS coding, but this time it's not.
