Rise Questions [Tracking & Dimensions]
Hi everyone,
I just had two questions about Rise
- Tracking
- In Storyline, I am using open text fields to capture what learners write in different sections and then at the end there is an "email" button that aggregates all the open text fields into one email through javascript. Is this possible to do if I separate the text fields into different Storyblocks within Rise or no?
- Dimensions
- I am trying to create scrollable background within Rise to create a flowing experience.
- Does anyone have an example I can use to see how to best set this up?
- If not could you please provide dimensions for banners/background images that will create something like this:
- I am trying to figure out the best way to start the outlining process (for example can I use Canva to make the dimensions something like 2000x8000 to lay out everything and then "chop it up" without it getting mismatched later)
- I am trying to create scrollable background within Rise to create a flowing experience.

Hello DustinCook,
Thanks for reaching out!
I'll leave your design question for the community, but to answer your first question, multiple embedded Storyline 360 blocks in a single Rise 360 course can't communicate with each other. This means the text captured from one embedded Storyline 360 block can't be read and included in an email created from another.
Hope this helps!- DustinCookCommunity Member
That is - unfortunately - what I thought. But at least now I know and can make adjustments if I need to create a workaround in Rise in the future.
Thanks a bunch!
