Rise Scorm Upload to LMS Issue
I have downloaded a SCORM 1.2 file from my Rise course to be uploaded to my LMS. There seems to be some kind of error in the download and it keeps failing to upload even after extracting and rezipping the files, which usually works. Has anyone else come across this issue?

Hi Kimberly,
Which LMS are you using?
What is the error message?

I am using the Statewide learning Management System for New York State.
The error message says "This is not a valid .zip file"
A few of my co-workers have also tried and are getting the same message

We have figured out this issue. It is because the file sizes are too large on the pre-made Real Content Courses. We are planning on breaking the courses down into 3 to 4 parts to upload them as separate files.
I hope this helps anyone else who comes across this issue!

Hi Kimberly,
We found the same thing.
Courses that use videos created a SCORM file larger than our LMS could handle.
We removed the videos and the SCORM file size was reduced from 1 GB to 112 MB.
Scenarios also inflate the SCORM file size a lot.
