Saving different versions of Storyline in cloud storage

When I create a project in Storyline 360 and save repeated versions, my questions are regarding my uploaded project in my cloud server.

I've uploaded a current project to my Google Cloud Platform. However, if I save Storyline repeatedly with minor changes, how do I know my cloud files are the most current? Would I have to repeatedly upload/copy my project files to the cloud just as I've saved in Storyline? Or do the cloud files maintain the same storage files for that particular project regardless of repeated saves?

  • Hi Jim,

    Thanks for reaching out!

There isn't any way to automatically sync your project files that are saved on your local computer to Google Cloud Platform without any third-party applications, so you will need to upload new copies of your project file to Google Cloud Platform every time you make changes to your project file.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • If you are saving your project files directly to cloud or network storage, you run a very real risk of losing your work. Always save on a local drive, then outside of SL upload the project file to cloud or network.
