Scenario Block
Hi all,
Hi Articulate Team,
I use the Scenario Block in Rise360 frequently and often include several in a single course. I’ve noticed others have also requested a wider selection of characters, and I’d like to echo that. It would be great to see more diversity, for example, Canadian Indigenous, Métis characters and more of each culture in general, as well as more professional-looking options and additional clothing choices. I often end up reusing the same characters throughout a course.
I also find it challenging to select suitable background images. For instance, when I need a person on the phone, it’s hard to find an image where the person is positioned to the right so that text doesn’t overlap them. It would be very helpful if the “character” and text windows in the Scenario Block could be repositioned or moved freely within the image.
One more thing :) I’m developing a course for a client who will be using their own LMS. Is there a way for us to view learner activity results or reports for that course so we can confirm completion and invoice accordingly? At the moment, the only solution we’ve found is to rely on the client’s Privacy Officer to notify us and include that obligation in our contract, which isn’t ideal.
Thank you for considering this feedback!

Hi MicheleMatyus,
Thanks for sharing your thoughtful feedback and ideas. We love hearing how you’re using the Scenario Block and where more flexibility would help. I’ve shared your suggestions for a wider range of characters, more diverse representation, and adjustable layouts with our product team for consideration in future updates.
For your question about tracking learner activity, Rise 360 itself doesn’t collect learner data. When you publish for an LMS, the LMS handles reporting and completion tracking. If your client hosts the course in their own LMS, they’ll be the ones who can access that data. I know it’s not ideal to rely on their Privacy Officer for confirmation, and I appreciate you explaining how that affects your workflow.
Thanks again for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. It really helps guide how we improve Rise 360.
