Screen Recording - Mouse Click Sound
I'm not sure if there's a solution to this, but I record many videos for systems training and use the View Slide option. I find the mouse click sound incredibly jarring in an otherwise quiet video.
It is incredibly tedious to individually click on every slide, then click on the mouse cursor in the timeline, then click on the menu and select None in the Clicks menu. Is there any way to turn the mouse sound off for an entire scene or recording?
Surely given the other options we have available for recordings around mouse highlights and such, the sound could be an option to adjust?

Hi Kim, I found this article and thought of sharing it here for your reference. Not sure if it could be of a great help!!

Thanks Sandeep, but this is not helpful at all in this instance.
Hi Kim,
I'm happy to jump in! Though we don't support modifying the published output, some community members disable the mouse click sounds by manually renaming or removing the MouseClickSound file, as suggested by Seth here:
When you publish your course, go to the Storyline output\story_content folder and rename/delete the mouse click.mp3 file. Something that looks like this:
MouseClickSound_443e3a58-d00a-4250-a935-dbf2103efc26_22050_48_0.mp3
In the meantime, I've added your voice to an existing feature request for the option to adjust the mouse click sound for the whole project. We'll let you know once it makes it to our roadmap.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi EricSantos - Was wondering if the folder will appear if I published my project as a video? I tried publishing something just now and the only content in that folder I have is the video output.
Hi KLO0609,
Thanks for your question! Seth’s workaround above may not be applicable to all situations, especially when it comes to published video outputs.
What you’re seeing is expected. When a Storyline course is published as a video, only the video file is generated and included in the output folder. Other course files and assets typically available in web or LMS outputs are not created in this format.
I also went ahead and added your feedback to the existing feature request regarding mouse sounds, so you’ll be notified if anything changes.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.
