Screencast Resolution Setting

Our product is Internet based sofware. The software automatically fills a 1920x1080 web browser when in use. If we leave our Storyline slides set to 960x540 the video capture is downsized by 50% and looks blurry and fuzzy.

Would it be best practice to set our slides to 1920x1080 for this project? Even at the risk of creating larger files?

Or is there another way to keep our screencasts crisp?

Thanks<

I think you are right Peggy, the best way to achieve this with Storyline screen record is to ensure you set your project to 1920x1080. Unless your project is huge, it shouldnt add too much in terms of final size.

Another option is to use some other software specifically for screen recording. These allow you to zoom in on various parts of the screen at key points. Some of the apps even allow you to set a final output resolution, and the software will automatically ensure everything fits and is scaled for perfect view.
