Is there a way to configure the built-in search function only to search within slide notes? (I know the learner can use the filter function but I want to configure it so it only searches within the slide notes)
Or is there a workaround for this?

Right now, there isn't a built-in way to change the Search function behavior in Storyline since it pulls all slide text and notes.
I've shared your thoughts with our product team, and if we add this to a future update, we'll share the news here. Here's a look into how we prioritize feature requests!
