Set the Story Size and Resolution
I saw a tutorial in which the designer set the story size and resolution to 1024X600 for a project. He tweaked as needed. Is it necessary to change the story size and resolution for each project? ...
I have a few questions on story size:
What are pros and cons of using a higher resolution story size? I'm thinking of going to 1024x768, or maybe 1440x1080. (I want to keep 4x3 aspect)
Pros: Are bitmap images sharper? I assume text and vectors render to screen res?
Cons: The player will size to the device, right? including lower res devices (say chromebooks).
If the story size is higher rez, will file size for bitmaps be larger? Can this become a performance issue if you're using lots of bitmaps?
