Setting up a countdown timer on a slide
Hi! I've read through a ton of threads about countdown timers, but I'm not quite finding what I'm looking for. I need to insert a countdown timer that counts down from 20 to 0 seconds on the slide. I've found a ton of timers but all of them start over 30 seconds and I don't understand how to change the start time to 20 seconds. eg) Working on a timer and it has a weird bug around seconds to minute mark - Articulate Storyline Discussions - E-Learning Heroes

Try this. It is currently set to start at 2 minutes. The start time is controlled by the first two triggers on the base slide.

Hi Walt! Thanks so much! That worked. The slide I'm creating is a question so I need it to also show 3 layers - correct, incorrect & time's up. Since the timer opens to the loopin & loopout layers, I'm stuck on what triggers to use. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again!

Layers default to Hiding other layers when they show. For the feedback layers, they will kick out the timing layers. You need to go into the layer properties and deselect that option. Be sure you have triggers to close them.
