Shape flickering on hover

Not sure why

but I deleted it and added back another shape (probably wrong colour blue) but it's working now.

To piggyback on what Matthew said, if the hover shape is smaller than the normal, that can also cause the flicker.

It hovers, but then is not above the new shape, so returns to normal, then is above, so goes to hover,etc.

I'm having the same issue but with pictures.  When you hover the picture it should show another layer (which is just text) but the text simply flickers.  I have tried adding boarders to both pictures as suggested above but it didn't help.  Any other suggestions?

I am having a similar issue. I have an image of a flowchart and I am using magnified halves on two layers, which are navigated to via hotspots. In other words, when the learner hovers over the top half of the flowchart, it navigates to the layer with the magnified top half. When they move the mouse out of the that area, it returns to the base layer. If the learner hovers over the 2nd half, same happens. However, it flickers. Do I have to install a previous version or am I doing this incorrectly?

I also have the same issue with the hover over effect flickering continuously. I've reverted my Storyline version, and it fixed the issue. Woohoo!

Is there a way to know when the bug is fixed in the newest version? (that way we know when it's safe to upgrade to the latest version again)

I am having a problem with images used on knowledge checks. Each image is an option to answer the question and set to enlarge (I created a "ZOOM" state) when the learner hovers on the option.

The options are set to enlarge at the center of the slide. I have attached the slide.
